Which hand should I choose?
Thumb peg or finger peg decides which way your wood curls on the green. Try both on a practice mark in the Woods tab to see which suits the mark you're playing.
How do I set a mark?
Win an end and you're given the mark on the next one. Choose a footer and roll the jack anywhere on the green, in any direction, as long as it clears the minimum length.
Do I need an internet connection?
No. Thumb Peg runs entirely offline — your season, scorecards and woods are all kept on your device.
How do I match my own woods?
Open Woods → Finish → "Match my own woods" and either take a photo or choose one from your library. The app samples the colour and applies it to your emblem.
My progress disappeared after an update.
Progress is stored locally on your device and should carry over between updates automatically. If it doesn't, please tell us the device model and iOS version using the form below.
